On Wednesday evening people trying to download images, videos etc. on Whats App, Facebook and Twitter were surprized to find that downloading was not possible. Soon, people took to social media and expressed their grievances.
The news spread like wild fire and reached the concerned authorities.
Mark Zuckerberg owned Facebook and Whats App issued the following statement –
We’re aware that some people are having trouble uploading or sending images, videos and other files on our apps. We’re sorry for the trouble and are working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible. #facebookdown
Experts looking into the issue said apparently it looks like a major server crash. However, neither exoerts nor these companies could assure a timeline by which things will get normal.
The netizens will have to wait till things starts moving normally and downloading is possible.
